boho ethnic as well as classy

now I am back with another posting. lol you guys must be thinking I am sort of crazy with 2 posts in a day..:P yeah now i am in a mood to blog again :)

speaking of the title above..boho ethnic..I tried this one after i saw a page in a magazine called SHOP which i bought a month ago..loving it..except that probably i should find better shirt and better earring to accompany the look..lol..am I creative or what?? :)

funny thing about the boots. they're actually my Mom's but she does not really fit into them, hehe I guess that sizes kinda tricky nowadays, especially for women's shoes..but thanks Mom :)


and speaking about classy as well, I thought i should wear a LBD aka little black dress sometimes to the mall or somewhere for just an alternative way of dressing my own lah..turns out good for me :)

favorite things part one

hello March..lol. finally i am able to post something again. this time what I got for the recent month. I am not a compulsive shopper so these purchases were like combination of so many days of shopping. that is why i am dividing them into 2 posts. quite lazy to think about the titles so i will stick to 'favorite things' :D



from MUJI: knee length socks, pink marker, hair ties, aromatic candle and small candle holder.



hunting cool movies: Cool Hand Luke and Santa Paws DVD. region 3.



from ZARA: cotton trouser with dark color. my current favorite item :)



from X, SML : short cotton pants. its quite comfy and very appropriate for spring time ;)



magazine and book never gonna be a boredom for me. I found nice Aussie magazine called SHOP which I later found very useful for daily mix and match. second book is Gourmet Jakarta. basically it is nothing to read cause just talks about 2010 best restaurants but for culinary freak like me, duh, it is beyond important :P

another chapter of weird soiree

another sober thing i always hated to attend is a simple party held by someone who has somewhat become our business partner for several years. in this case, my dad. no he did not held the soiree but one of the leader [i am not sure about his position, lets just call him that] held again another soiree but this time different location. food was much better than the last one and the crowds were bigger but sadly, they lacked space. hell, if dad insist on taking me to another soiree, i'd rather eat cup noodles at home and sit back on couch :P

there are total 8 dishes including desserts. and 2 performance of Lion dance :D

1st: fried seafood spring rolls, fried ebi, duck stir fry, octopus cooked in soy sauce...entree



second: egg asparagus soup


third: fried chicken cooked in sweet sauce. though i'd say it was quite salty :P



forth: fried fish in sweet soy sauce with bell peppers and cilantro.



fifth: fried prawn cooked in salty egg and herbs.my favorite :D




sixth: fried tofu cooked in sweet sauce alongside with chinese mushroom and horienso



seventh: simple fried rice. worst dish of the night. never have I tasted fried rice so bland o_o



eighth: desserts. selection of 2 puddings. coconut pudding / almond pudding. tried both. yummy.



lion dance attraction from one of local's famous lion dance school in Chinatown area.

and look how dull or sleepy I was during the soiree. guess I wasn't too excited after all..

February means month of good colors for me. either red or pink or shocking red or shocking pink or even magenta. :P ~ really suit Lunar new year and Valentine :)

i am trying to capture my own pose from different side..hehe..looks kinda cheesy but oh well, i don't have DSLR for the moment. I am currently saving for one, hopefully a 500/550D but would not mind the uber cool 60D too :D

today is February! lol can't believe how the time flies so fast. anyway, lacking updates each and every day. i apologize. currently busy with my work and upcoming future plan that includes relocating somewhere in the world. meanwhile, just enjoy the pictures I posted, ok? :)
